iRAPP 1.0 is launched

To date, there were no good hardware or software solutions existing in the marketplace to cater to computer users who use both a Mac and a PC device, or multiple devices. Until now, working on both PC and Mac computers and applications in a single, unified workspace was simply not possible.

The launch of iRAPP 1.0 changes the game for users with multiple computers and different operating systems. iRAPP 1.0 is an innovative software which allows users to merge Mac and PC applications using a single set of keyboard, screen and mouse. There are no monitor and keyboard cables necessary to create this fused PC/Mac environment. The only thing that is required, is that both the Mac (or multiple Macs) and the PC stay connected to the same LAN or local wireless network.

For the users that have multiple computers and use both the Windows and Mac operating systems, iRAPP brings a new dimension and flexibility to using those devices simultaneously and off of the same screen and keyboard. iRAPP allows users to sit and work on their PC, and simultaneously, in the same workspace environment work on applications and files that are residing on their remote Mac computer. iRAPP also makes it possible to share and copy content across Mac and PC applications. For example, using the same familiar copy/paste keyboard shortcuts, users can seamlessly copy and paste text and images from Mac’s Safari browser into Microsoft’s Word residing on a PC machine. From the user perspective, it’s as if the two physical computers, with two different operating systems have been fused into one.

A flexible menu docking and multi-screen capability let you take full advantage of this new technology, and customize your fused Mac/PC environment. Users with a multi-monitor display can assign individual applications or the entire Mac environment to the screen of their choosing. The user configuration is memorized by the iRAPP software, so every new workday or session can begin from the same starting point.

iRAPP also allows users to work on your PC and access printers, USB devices and other peripherals that are physically attached only to a Mac device. So now small businesses and power users can be more flexible and optimize the use of their expensive hardware devices.
