2.5 Getting Started with iRAPP Client

iRAPP Client allows you to connect to a iRAPP Server located either on a local or remote network. By default, iRAPP Client will look for available local servers. The following instructions will guide you through the default server connection. For information on advanced settings, refer to the "Manage Settings" section of this document.

Launch iRAPP Client. During the installation, a shortcut has automatically been created on the desktop. Alternatively, iRAPP should now be available from the Start > All Programs > iRAPP Client menu of Windows.

Double-click on the server name or click on "connect" to establish the connection.

Once the connection is established, you will be prompted for a valid username and password. These should match an active account on the remote computer.

You should now be connected to your iRAPP server and able to enjoy all the functionalities of iRAPP. If the displays do not automatically synchronize or to change any of the connection parameters, refer to the "Manage Settings" section of this document.
