3.1.5 Display Modes Management

IRAPP Server allows users to customize display modes in Mac OS to facilitate the synchronization with the client display(s). To launch the iRAPP Display Manager click on "Manage Display" in the Server Settings dialog box.

NB: Manage display is not available from remote client when iRAPP is used in"multiple users" mode. It must be access either in "single user mode" or from the Mac OS console directly.

The Display Manager includes a number of pre-set resolutions that cannot be managed.

• Display Manager Tools include:
  • Add - to add a custom resolution: Click on "Add" and enter the desired width and height.
    
    
    
    Click on "Add Resolution".
    
    
    
    The new resolution will not be available until it has been saved and the system rebooted.
    
    
  • Remove - remove a custom mode
  • Set - edit the selected mode. This option is similar to the "Add" function.
  • Save - save changes
  • Close - close the dialog box. If changes have been saved, an automatic reboot option will be displayed. Note that resolution changes will not be available until the computer has been restarted.
