3.1.6 License Management
iRAPP requires a valid license before it can be used. Licenses can be obtained at: http://www.coderebel.com/irapp/getlicense Both trial licenses and full licenses can be managed by clicking on the “Manage License” button from the Server Settings dialog box.
License Manager Tools include:
- Copy – copy the License ID to the clipboard.
- Load – to load a new license from the file:
- Click on “Load” and navigate to the license file (refer to “Installation Components” for more information).
- Click on “Open”. The License Manager will automatically activate your license.
- Click on “Close” to exit the License Manager and reboot the system.
- Update – request an update for current license status.
- Revoke – remove the current license from the server so it can be used on a different server.
- Get – acquire a new license.
- Close – close the dialog box.
License Information:
- Product Name – product name for which the license was obtained
- Customer Name – name of the customer who obtained the license
- License Type – license type
- Issue Date – date when the license was issued
- Activation Date – date the license was activated
- License Status – current license status including:
- Active – license is active
- Not Presented – license not available
- Not Activated – license not activated
- Pending – license valid only at a later date
- Expired – license past its expiration date
- Blocked – license is expired or is blocked (see “Block Reason”)
- Block Reason – reason why the license is blocked
- Max. Instances – maximum number of product installations
- Max. Connections – maximum number of simultaneous connections to iRAPP server
- Days Limit - number of days the license is valid (beginning on the activation day).
- Minimal Date – latest date to active the license.
- Maximal Date – date up to which the license is valid.
- Remaining Days - number of days remaining before the license expires.
- iRAPP Enabled - iRAPP Service can accept connections.
- iRDP Enabled - iRDP Service can accept connections.
