3.2.1 General

  • Computer – This field should contain the address of the remote Mac computer (server) for which the settings will be applied.
    • This field can only be changed before a connection is established.
    • Changing this field will applied any other changes to the newly specified computer.
    • If this field is left empty, the settings will be saved as the default Workspace Options and automatically used for any new server.
  • Mode – There are two connection modes available:
    • Remote Applications Mode – under this mode, the remote computer applications and control elements are integrated into the Windows desktop and control elements of the local PC.
    • Remote Desktop Mode – under this mode, the remote computer is mirrored in a separate session window. This mode is similar to a Remote Desktop Connection.
  • Logon Settings – This feature is supported by iRAPP Server for Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) only.
    • Logon automatically – when selected, this option allows the specified login information (username and password) to be automatically supplied to the remote computer.
    • User name – user name that will be automatically supplied to the remote computer during login.
    • Password – password matching the supplied user name.
